Quandong aka the peach of the dessert. The bright orange/red fruit can be found in arid regions in southern parts of Australia. Like a lot of native foods, Quandongs are good for you and have a high concentration of vitamin C. Indigenous Peoples would use the plant as a tropical treatment for their skin.

Season: Quandongs grow in arid regions of South Australia with a season ranging from October to March. They can be frozen and stored all year around.

Form you can find it in: Dried, frozen or ground into a powder. We sell both the dried and powder form.

How to use it: Quandongs have a delicious sweet and sour taste that makes them perfect for both sweet and savoury dishes including chilli jams, preserves, sauces, relishes, marinades and as toppings for desserts and ice cream!
