Warrigal greens is a spinach like plant that grows along the coastline of Australia. Once again it is another Australian native food full of vitamin C. If foraging is not your thing, you can also find the plant in many nurseries and they grow without much need to tend. It is very IMPORTANT to note that the large leaves contain toxic oxalates and before consuming or adding to your meals it must be blanched for around a minute. The younger baby leaves are fine to eat raw.
