Where to stay and what to do

Tasmania is my favourite place in Australia and currently on the rise of the top places to go and visit. So here are my top 6 recommendations!

1. East Coast of Tasmania

Bay of Fires

The east coast of Tasmania may just be the most beautiful part of the whole island. Between its crystal clear waters, beautiful national parks, wineries and the friendliest people in Australia, it is hard to resist.

2. Launceston

Floating Sauna

Launceston is the second biggest city in Tasmania and can sometimes be overshadowed by Hobart, but it still has a lot to offer! from beautiful historical buildings to delicious restaurants all over to eat at.

What to do?

Walk around Cataract Gorge or if you are up for an excursion checkout the floating sauna in Derby for a day trip.

The Nut

This small beach town in the north of Tasmania will make you feel like you are in the fjords of Scandinavia.
